Fives minutes with … David Jackson

David joined the Fennell West team in February 2016 and in less than three years has become a valued Practise Manager. Here the sports-mad Colac Football and Netball committee member shares some insight into what life is like outside of the practice, which usually involves raising his heartrate and some good rock music.

What is your favourite thing about working at Fennell West?

Great team who take pride in making our clients lives easier.

What would you do if you weren’t doing this?

AFL Player Agent

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?

Play a musical instrument, preferably guitar.

If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you meet and why?

Michael Hutchence – I love INXS’s music and I think he would have plenty of interesting stories.

What’s your favourite book, movie and song?

Book: No Spin – Shane Warne

Song: Paranoid Android – Radiohead

What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done?

Run a marathon, craziest by a long way.

What is your guilty pleasure?

Chocolate.

What’s your favourite travel destination and why?

Noosa – my wife’s father lives there and it has everything we want in a holiday destination.

What are your favourite things to do in your spare time?

Running and anything related to sport.

What’s the greatest bit of advice a parent or mentor has given you?

Keep your head down and work hard, good things will happen.

What’s your earliest childhood memory?

Living on dairy farm until the age of 5, absolutely loved it.
