Fennell West opens doors in Torquay

Fennell West has officially opened its new Torquay office, after outgrowing its space in Geelong.

The business, which has its Head Office in Camperdown, and premises in Colac and Warrnambool, has chosen the burgeoning coastal town of Torquay as a new home due to the ever-growing population – and its easy-going lifestyle!

“It’s the perfect place for us to be,” says Pete Williamson, Fennell West’s General Manager of Geelong and Surf Coast.

“The office is on the Surf Coast Highway, a couple of blocks back from the beach, near all of the surf shops, and we’re really looking forward to establishing ourselves here in the community.”

The two-storey premises features client meeting rooms – kitted out with widescreen TVs for presentations – downstairs, and office space upstairs, and the Fennell West Torquay team will be offering the business’s full range of services, including financial planning, investment management, lending, mortgage broking, superannuation, insurance, wealth creation, debt management and estate planning.

The move came about in part due to the business’s growth – it had outgrown the space it occupied in Geelong, and the relocation 15 minutes south made good business sense.

“It’s a growing area, and as well as Torquay, you’ve got Armstrong Creek, Mount Duneed and all of these areas that are growing and thriving, too,” says Pete.

The Torquay office will continue to manage the clients who were previously served by the Geelong office. Meeting space will still be available for client meetings in Geelong for those who prefer not to travel to Torquay, while home visits are still, of course, a key part of the Fennell West offering.

“It’s a great space, a great location, and we’re delighted to be here,” says Pete.

“We’re looking forward to continuing to work with our current clients and meeting new clients too.”
