WELCOMING JARROD OWEN TO THE TEAM

From this Monday, Jarrod Owen is looking forward to having a closer working relationship with clients and to helping them achieve the lifestyle they plan for.

The 35-year-old financial adviser has joined Shane West and Ryan Fennell at Fennell West in Colac and Camperdown.

Jarrod brings a wealth of experience and qualifications to Fennell West, having previously worked for Crowe Horwarth. He has completed his Master of Business Administration (MBA) specialising in Financial Planning and also holds a Diploma of Financial Services.

“I really wanted to move to a role where I could build and maintain personal and direct relationships with clients. I believe that’s what Ryan and Shane do so well” he said.

“The work that advisers do is important – we’re working with people’s lifesavings, their superannuation and their investments. I strongly believe that clients should be able to have a real relationship and genuinely know the person they are dealing with.

“I want to be part of a service that provides a client experience that I would want for myself, my parents and my friends – a holistic service delivered by people who care about you.”

Jarrod said he had always enjoyed building client relationships, setting specific goals for clients and implementing strategic plans to achieve those goals.

“What I love about being a financial adviser just fits in perfectly with the cash flow focus that Ryan and Shane have for their broad range of clients,” he said.

“Through my extensive client dealings I’ve seen the need for Fennell West’s cash flow program – especially with people who work hard to have good incomes but don’t necessarily make the most of their situation to prepare for later in life.

“I’m looking forward to using my broad skills to work one-on-one with clients to provide a single point of contact that caters for their total financial needs.”

Shane said he and Ryan had no doubt Jarrod would help Fennell West guide more and more south-west residents towards the lifestyles they wanted for themselves.

“He has experience with retirement planning, superannuation and redundancy, self-managed superannuation funds, Centrelink, wealth creation strategies, investment advice, risk insurance, business insurance and more,” Shane said.

“We’re excited to have Jarrod on board and look forward to him being a vital part of the growing team at Fennell West.”
